Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Singularity Studio (the "Service") is operated at singularityos.tech by its founder as an individual ("we", "us"); no company is registered behind the Service yet. By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction — to purchase a plan. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow their use.

3. License

Your purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under the seat and device limits of your chosen plan. The Founder's Lifetime license is a one-time purchase that includes future updates to the Studio plan for as long as the Service is offered.

You may not resell, sublicense, or circumvent the license system.

4. BYOK — your keys, your responsibility

The Service runs on a Bring-Your-Own-Key architecture, and we hold no model keys of our own. You connect your own generative-model API keys and they are stored locally in your browser. In the desktop app the engine runs on your own machine, so a key travels from your computer straight to the provider you chose. In the browser, calls to some providers currently pass through our server, which attaches your key to that single request, forwards it and discards it: we never store it, never write it to a log or a URL, and never reuse it.

You are responsible for your own model API usage, its costs, and compliance with each provider's terms (for example Google, OpenAI, Runway, Kling, Luma). Model outputs are produced by third-party services you connect; their terms govern those outputs.

5. Payments

The Founder's Lifetime Pass is sold through Whop by the Service's individual founder. Whop acts as merchant of record solely in its capacity as payment processor, for the purpose of card network rules and payment settlement, and handles checkout and payment data; we never see your full payment details. Monthly subscriptions are not yet available for purchase.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Every paid plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee, described in the Refund Policy. You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing cycle.

7. Acceptable use

Use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, with notice where practicable.

8. Your content

Your scripts, projects and settings stay on your machine (local-first). We claim no ownership of your content or of outputs generated through your own model keys.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination your license ends; refund eligibility follows the Refund Policy.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for outputs generated by third-party AI models you connect via your own keys.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence remain unaffected. The applicable jurisdiction and competent courts will be stated on the Imprint page once the operator's business registration completes. Before any formal dispute, contact us — we resolve issues in good faith first.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
